About Us

A Patient, Advocate and Lover of Life

A native of St. Catharines, Sarah went to the University of Western Ontario where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and History before making the move to Mississauga and attending Humber College where she graduated with full honours in the post graduate Public Administration program.

Sarah worked in the public sector before moving into the non-profit, education and finally health care sectors.  After being diagnosed with lupus and osteonecrosis (bone death), Sarah decided to dedicate her focus, skills and experience on efforts to share her story, educate others about health issues and patient's rights.  Sarah has spent the past decade studying cannabis plant sciences and chemistry.

In her spare time, Sarah can be found devouring books, knitting or spending time with her husband, Gavin and the joy of her life, her son Alastair.
